The Indian government has banned 118 mobile apps, making a third digital strike on China and with this, the number of banned apps in India has reached 224. These apps have been banned about data privacy 


Yes, the government of India has banned both PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite application in the country on Wednesday. Both the mobile games are developed by Tencent Games which is situated and registered in China.  


The maker of the hit video game PlayerUnknown's Battleground (PUBG) has cut ties with Tencent in India after Delhi banned apps with links to China. PUBG Mobile was one of 118 Chinese apps that the Indian government blacklisted over national security   

In March 2019, PUBG was banned in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara and Bhavnagar districts of Gujarat, and the local police also arrested youngsters playing the mobile game. But the prohibition was lifted within weeks 

PUBG was banned by India onseptember2nd 2020 along with 118 more apps, the ban was due to security reasons. The apps were unavailable at google play store and on the apple store
